Indura Performance Fiber (IPF) is the result of new fiber technology that eliminates the need for traditional wire innersprings; in their place is fiber padding made from recycled polyester bottles--the first viable alternative to polyurethane foam. Independent scientific testing on a variety of the usual performance characteristics has proven that IPF is equal to, and in many cases better than, foam. IPF has a unique fiber structure that is exceptionally resilient—and far superior to any other fiber material on the market. Even better, IPF contains no flame-retardant chemicals—it doesn't burn nor leach toxic chemicals or vapors and it meets the Flammability Standard 16 CFRR Part 1633, as well as other federal and industry safety standards.
The patented manufacturing process involved in making our Eco-Friendly mattress incorporates an elastomeric binder that opens the fibers and gives them unequalled loft and softness. This results in superior loft as well as superior resistance to stretching and shrinking.Testing has shown that IPF delivers long-lasting comfort and support, which provides you with more restful, healthy sleep. This mattress also weighs less than traditional foam mattresses, making it much easier to maneuver.
